The codebook was briefly mentioned in 3.6 Extract Tagged Variables when we looked at the code book pages for the variables R0214700 and R0214800 to find the response value codes for race? = 'black' = '2' and sex? = 'male' = '1'. Notice below we have added a variable, R0010600, to our sample tag set. This variable was gathered in an actual survey question, S02Q01, its response value codes contain frequencies, impart more response nuances than the previously tagged variables, and contain some refusals and invalid skips.
