The U.S. Department of Labor asks you to participate in the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth 1979, Round 23, a survey of how your generation has made the transition from schooling to the establishment of their careers and families.

This study is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. Your participation is vital to the success of this study. This study is voluntary, and you may decline to answer specific questions. You also may end the interview at any point. You will receive a cash gift as a token of appreciation for participating in the study. This survey is conducted to understand the labor market experiences of your generation.
