Topics examined include: BORUS -- Chapter 1, an overview of the characteristics of the civilian youth population; SANTOS -- Chapter 2, employment status of youth by sex, race, age and health status; POLLARD -- Chapter 3, the differences between males and females in growth in earnings between the first job and the job held in 1981; CROWLEY -- Chapter 4, changes in government employment and training programs from FY 1979 to FY 1980; and D'AMICO -- Chapter 5, the ways in which adolescents spend their time. |
