First, it provides a comprehensive survey of the research that has utilized the panel data on the four NLS cohorts. Second, it compares the research done with the content of the surveys in order to identify neglected research opportunities. Third, it suggests direction for future research based on the NLS. Fourth, the information in this report may aid in the research design for surveys of two new youth cohorts and continuing surveys of the four existing cohorts. |
